PlayStation 5 shortage is over
PS5 was released in 2020, and soon after the launch, a scarcity was faced by technology Giant, Sony. But the console's shortage has now gone after a protracted wait, according to the company. Jim Ryan, the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment also stated that the PS5 is now available at retailers worldwide.
Ryan said, “I’m happy to share that December was the biggest month ever for PS5 console sales, and that we’ve sold more than 30 million units through consumers worldwide”.
Currently, players in the United States and the United Kingdom can order consoles and bundles with delivery times as short as a few days. Almost all major retailers have the console in stock, as well as some more games such as FIFA 23, God of War: Ragnarok, and DualSense controllers.
Even though there was a long period of PS5 shortage, 2022 was a really successful year for PlayStation. After its November 2020 launch, Sony was still able to sell over 30 million consoles, which contributed to its remarkable success.
