Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League delayed
Warner Bros. delayed the game until the second half of 2023 because of all the negative responses received about the choices around Suicide Squad.
Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad is currently scheduled for a release in May but that looks to have been changed already, as per Bloomberg.
Suicide Squad was showcased last month at Sony’s State of Play live stream. Fans criticised the game for its requirement to stay connected online even in single-player mode. Single-player games, through DRM, usually require a one-time online check to prevent privacy.
However, Rocksteady’s upcoming DC game will require a persistent online connection even during offline single-player modes.
That’s not all. Fans have also criticised Rocksteady for adding a battle pass to the game which the studio says will only contain cosmetic items.
Meanwhile, the studio has also announced new characters and missions will be added through post-game content updates. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be the first DC game by Rocksteady Studios since their iconic Batman: Arkham series.
