Riot Games to appoint A. Dylan Jadeja as new CEO later this year

Riot Games has announced A. Dylan Jadeja as it new CEO. He will taking over duties later this year.
Valorant maker Riot Games has announced A. Dylan Jadeja as its new CEO. He will be taking over the position later this year. Nicolo Laurent, who led the position for more than six years will be focusing on his personal life.
A. Dylan Jadeja joined Riot Games back in 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer, and later became COO in 2014. In 2017, he was appointed as the president of global service strategies at Riot Games.
Riot Games' co-founders Merill and Beck believe that Jadeja as CEO will continue to push best choices for the players and community. The co-founders said that Jadeja has always been a strong advocate for most of the bold choices biggest bets for Riot Games over the years.
A. Dylan Jadeja on being promoted as Riot's CEO said "What drew me to Riot all those years ago was the authenticity of our mission, the enthusiasm of the global player community, and the passion in every corner of the company.
He further expressed his emotions and said that he is honored to have the opportunity of leading the incredible team at Riot Games. "This is still true today. The creative heart at Riot is so inspiring — there’s real joy in what we do and who we do it for, and that’s not something you find everywhere. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the smartest and most creative minds in the industry here at Riot, and am honored to have the opportunity to lead this incredible team."
Nicolo Laurent, the current CEO at Riot Games has been handling the leadership duties in the company for the past 14 years including six as CEO. However, he will be continuing with the company as an advisor after leaving the CEO role. As per the announcement, Nicolo and Dylan will be working together in the upcoming months in order to have a smooth transition of roles.
In recent years, Riot Games has developed a strong esports scene for its FPS title Valorant. The publisher is also known for its popular MOBA title League of Legends.
