The Takeover Challenge was announced by A$AP Rocky on 10th November. This is a new event where you get to compete with other players on the leaderboard, without feeling the heat on the track. However, you will be posed with mini-challenges completing which will contribute to your overall scores. This includes causing chaos on the streets of Lakeshore City and evading cops chasing you for the bad…driver that you are.

Need For Speed Unbound- Official Soundtrack

First and foremost, NFS Unbound’s Official Soundtrack features more than 70 tracks. That’s a colossal piece of artwork right there, but it’s apparently what it takes to put “the emphasis on global expressions of hip-hop”. The Official Soundtrack of NFS Unbound is brought together by A$AP Rocky, Brodisnki, and their companies that encompass a set of artists from across the globe. NFS Unbound music lead, Chase Straight has tried to draw the focus on those talents that often get shrouded by the stardom of the artists that we already know. Straight said, “Nearly half of our soundtrack is non-English, putting a spotlight on art and artists that are making waves in their region of the world that we hope to give a global platform to.”

We’ve already been introduced to A$AP Rocky’s and AWGE’s “Sh*ttin’ Me” in the NFS Unbound reveal trailer. This will be a licensed track in the game which you can now check out on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer. The Need For Speed Unbound Official Soundtrack is now out on these platforms for you to tune into. 

Need For Speed: Unbound, the twenty-fifth installment of the long-standing, popular racer series, launches this November 29th. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows via Steam and Epic Games.
