E3 2023 Details
E3 2023 will take place this year from June 11 to June 16, at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). As informed earlier, the event will have dedicated days and slots for the fans and consumers, industry representatives and the media. The Schedule has now been shared.
E3 Digital Week
As the E3 Digital Week starts on Sunday, 11th June, it will run till Saturday, 17th June. E3 Digital Week will be streamed live online, and people from across the world can witness the announcements from their homes. E3 is reportedly “partnering with some of the most well-known digital game showcases” like the PC Gaming Show and the Future Games Show. Among the other biggies Ubisoft is confirmed to be attending the show in person, at Los Angeles. However, Nintendo, and Sony PlayStation will reportedly not be a part of the E3 2023, while Xbox recently announced its own exclusive showcase, also scheduled for June 11.
E3 Business Days
E3 Business Days is slated to be held as a physical event from 13th June to 15th June. Business Days are dedicated for professionals of the gaming industry, looking for meeting and business opportunities. You can register yourself for the event and learn more right here.
E3 Gamer Days
E3 Gamer Days is scheduled for 15th and 16th June. It is going to be a fan-oriented event offering demos and hands-on experiences of some of the latest games. More details about registrations and ticket prices will be out soon. People who attend E3 during the Gamer Days will be able to witness the showcases for Digital Week in the theater, along with “special insider commentary provided by industry and game professionals.”
After a shabby gig in 2020, followed by a two years long hiatus, though the line-up of attendees don’t look very promising as of now, we can’t wait to see what E3 pulls off this time. Last year we also learnt about the change of hands in the organizers with ReedPop taking over. ReedPop also organizes events like the PAX, New York Comic Con, and Star Wars Celebration. The showdown is quite anticipated given the rise of other mega showcase events like Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest during the pandemic, which also takes place from June 13 to June 16.
