Cyberpunk 2077- Phantom Liberty will feature Sasha Grey as DJ Ash, reveals CDPR ahead 2023 launch

Cyberpunk 2077, the game that literally rose from its own ashes after its 2020 launch is back yet again to keep its hype up. This time they are organizing a music contest, but need we say, that isn’t even the hook! The upcoming DLC of Cyberpunk 2077, slated for release next year, will apparently be featuring a community radio station- 89.7 Growl FM. That’s not all, the voice behind the DJ of 89.7 Growl FM has also been revealed, and it’s someone that a lot of us are a little too familiar with. Keep reading for all the details.

Night City will get Community Radio Station

CD Projekt Red has announced “a new community radio station coming to Night City”, in Phantom Liberty expansion. Phantom Liberty, being the first DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, is already highly anticipated, and now there’s one reason more. Sasha Grey, American actress, the voice behind  Viola DeWynter from Saints Row: The Third, and former pornography actress, is playing DJ Ash of 89.7 Growl FM. In a Tweet, she shared Cyberpunk 2077’s announcement for the Night City Community Radio on October 15. 

As for the music contest, interested participants need to create a music track relevant to the theme of Cyberpunk as submissions. The tracks need to be about 2 to 3 minutes long. The contest will close on November 30th, after which the winning 12-15 tracks will be featured on Growl FM. Other prizes include a cash prize of $ 3000, goodie bags, and an iZotope Elements Suite. 

Point is, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting its first DLC- Phantom Liberty, coming as soon as 2023. Revealed earlier this year in September, we still don’t have a specific launch date.
