Mark your calendars! The Fortnite Remix: The Prelude live event is happening on Friday, November 1, 2024, at:

• 6:30 PM ET
• 10:30 PM GMT

This date and time were confirmed by Epic Games via an X post, and there's even a timer counting down in the lobby and at Restored Reels. And heads up, this event comes just a day before Chapter 2 Remix kicks off on November 1. Expect a bit of downtime between the event's end and the new season, so make sure you’ve snagged all the Battle Pass rewards you want before then!

How to Watch the Remix Prelude Live Event 

Joining the event is easy! Just jump into a match at the event's scheduled time. Unlike some past events, this one will happen live during gameplay, not through a special playlist. So, we recommend loading in a few minutes early to make sure you’re in when the action begins.

What’s Expected for the Chapter 5 Season 4 Live Event? 

Details are still mostly under wraps, but a few hints from dataminers are sparking excitement. The latest 31.30 update includes files suggesting the event might end with a dramatic black hole—the same way Chapter 1 wrapped up, with the game being sucked into darkness for hours of downtime before Chapter 2 launched.

According to leaker Egyptian_Leaker, the event—codenamed “kiln”—is set to unfold across six unique phases. While specifics on each stage are unclear, there are whispers that it might tie into the Marvel mini-event and bring a climactic showdown with Doctor Doom.

Music will also play a big role! Epic teased that players should “be there with the volume UP” when the timer hits zero.

Though some initially speculated this might close out Chapter 2 OG, leakers suggest a different event is in the works for Chapter 6's official start. Keep in mind that most of this info is based on leaks and is yet to be confirmed by Epic.
